You will need either a computer with a webcam and microphone OR a mobile device (such as a smart phone) to participate in a Zoom meeting.
You don’t need a Zoom account to attend a Zoom meeting, though. Click on the provided “Join from your browser” URL from your email and you will automatically join the meeting through your web browser on a desktop, laptop, or mobile device.
Once the meeting opens on your device, you will be prompted to enter your name. If you have previously participated in a Zoom meeting and have the Zoom app installed, your name may already be associated with your device. You will then be put into a “waiting room” and will be admitted by the meeting host.
If you have a Zoom account, you may instead enter the a meeting with the meeting’s code and password to join.
