Hawkeye: L.A. Woman by Matt Fraction (Author) Juiver Pulido, Annie Wu (Illustrators)

February 1, 2018

Hawkeye is an also-ran in the Marvel Universe - he has no super powers, no luck, and employs an ancient weapon.

These Graphic Novel collections take these ideas and runs with them, but does not run down the character. The authors play with his lack of superpowers, his rotten luck in life, love and arch enemies, but never abuse the hero or his back story.

Clint Barton, the original Hawkeye, takes time away for the superhero life in L.A. Woman, leaving his sidekick to face a major super villain and her army.
